Based on 25 years of experience of long distance rides and top level endurance races, Gaston Mercier designs his saddle pads and numnahs using two basic principles:

• Setting them back from withers and parting them along the spine to avoid any friction or strain along the backbone.
• The use of the finest, most comfortable and sturdy materials to ensure close contact with the horse.

The outer material of our range of numnahs and saddle pads is breathable, tear-proof, UV-ray resistant and able stand up to extreme temperatures.
